R&D mindset.
Mechanical hands.

I like the part of engineering where an idea stops being a sketch and starts becoming a physical thing you can test, break, and improve.

I'm Dung Ho, an R&D Mechanical Engineering Intern and Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Utah John and Marcia Price College of Engineering, studying with an Aerospace emphasis and Computer Science minor.

My interests sit at the intersection of robotics, autonomous systems, aerospace, CAD, product development, and rapid prototyping. I like work that moves from research and operator interviews into SolidWorks models, printed parts, testing, and final engineering documentation.

Outside the lab, I've built content reaching 10M+ views and 50K+ followers, competed at the top 0.01% level in North American VALORANT esports, and now serve as a Riot Games Collegiate Esports Chair.

Based in West Valley City, Utah.

Design loop

Sketch, model, print, test.

The work starts as a note or sketch, then turns into modeled geometry, fabricated parts, field testing, and documentation.

More than one lane.

Engineering, academics, leadership, and media work that all feed the same habit: learn fast, build deliberately, and ship under pressure.

Academics

3.9 GPA at Utah, Dean's List, senior standing by credits.

Mechanical Engineering B.S. candidate with Aerospace emphasis and Computer Science minor. Hunter High School 4.0 GPA valedictorian with a 33 ACT composite and 36 Science.

Recognition

$15K+ in named scholarship awards.

Selected as a 2026 PROG Scholar with $10,000 in funding and a Canyon View Credit Union Scholarship recipient with $5,000 supporting first-generation engineering growth.

Creative pressure

10M+ views, 50K+ followers, top 0.01% esports competitor.

Built audience-facing content at scale while competing at an elite North American VALORANT level and supporting collegiate esports through Riot Scholastic Association work.

Things I've built.

A card with the same engineering DNA.

A sharper personal mark and business-card system built to feel like the rest of the portfolio: black, white, red, gold, CAD-line details, clear contact info, and a quick path from a handshake to the site.

Service that keeps showing up.

Before engineering projects, there were school-wide drives, Eagle Scout service, quilt-making, meal support, and real people counting on follow-through. I built a dedicated page with direct donation links, photos, and community posts for causes I have worked around before: Make-A-Wish Utah and Ronald McDonald House Mountain West.

Service work included park projects, quilt support, and meals for families near medical care.

Let's build something ambitious.
